Bio
Dylan is a songwriter from Sudbury, Ontario. His music is a blend of true stories and fiction collected from the vast North and the incredible people and wildlife who live quietly there. Dylan weaves these stories together with haunting melodies and rich acoustic guitar work to create an altogether transportive experience.
Dylan has had the great privilege of working under the tutelage of the great Canadian Songwriter Ian Tamblyn at Carleton University in Ottawa. With Ian, Dylan studied the craft of songwriting, and developed his voice as a poet of the rural North. It was during this time that Dylan also developed into a proficient classical guitarist. Since working with Ian and the faculty at Carleton, Dylan has been traveling across Canada performing his original songs and classical music both alone and with a variety professional ensembles.
Today, Dylan lives in Ottawa with his loving girlfriend and his faithful dog. Dylan regularly performs in and around the Ottawa/Gatineau region.
